It really depends on what you're expecting. The outside looks a little run down at first sight, however the staff was very friendly at check in. Rooms was very clean and the balcony view of the little creek outback was very relaxing. Good place to stay for the price if you don't expect all the bells and whistles.

"Great place to stay"

We booked the room from and got a great deal. Stayed in a room with 2 king size beds. Everything was exactly as advertised. Very clean. The beds were extremely comfortable and the water pressure in the shower was better than I have at home. We stayed in the back building by the RV park so our balcony faced both the creek and the parkway. There was no noise from the parkway at all. The grab and go breakfast was nothing fancy but was fine for what we wanted. Highly recommend.

My husband and I stayed here during our honeymoon. We didn't want to spend a lot of money on a room because we wanted to see all the attractions. The hotel is very clean, the balcony over the creek was very peaceful. The staff in the front office were very informative and nice. We Would definitely stay again!

"Enjoyed the balcony."

This is a neat place to stay as it is right on the Little Pigeon River. Fun place for families with small children that would like to play in the water. The balcony was very nice with very comfortable rocking chairs that overlook the river and a nice, quiet campground. Also the room is arranged different than any we've stayed at because of the 2 queen beds being partially separated by the bathroom. The check-in and pool are across the street, nice, partially covered parking area.

Booked the Creekstone Inn for a couple days visit to Pigeon Forge/Dollywood/Gatlinburg/Nat'l Park. Got a great rate with the firefighter/EMS discount this month. The office staff was very nice and helpful when I asked for any information. There was plenty of room for the 5 of us in our King Suite w/ fireplace. (Didn't actually think we'd end up using the fireplace in August, but our first afternoon at Dollywood was rainy and we were soaked and chilly and our shoes were wet.) The room had some minor things that one ought to expect with age and use, nothing that ruined our stay. It had plenty of room, no bugs, and a clean bed to sleep in. Don't need much more than that. Breakfast was plenty sufficient for us, cereal and fruit, waffles, juice, oatmeal, grits, muffins and donuts, toast. I wasn't offended by the breakfast room being in what was once a guest room...not sure what's the big deal about that. We were on the 5th floor and enjoyed the river side balcony and views. We were not bothered by noise from the go-cart track across the street. The rooms aren't completely sound-proof, though, and could hear our neighbors on the next balcony, but I turned on the fan and slept like a log. If you can't climb a lot of stairs you might want to request a lower room as the elevator was fairly slow. It wasn't a problem for us. Didn't use the pool but it looked nice, and it's great they provide use of tubes to use in the river. We didn't, but I will definitely keep it in mind in the future. The hotel is near the end of the parkway, and a block back, so not directly in traffic. There's a trolley stop right in front of the hotel, which we spent $1.00pp to ride to Patriot Park and catch another trolley to Dollywood. You could drive to Patriot park and park free and spend 50¢ to ride to DW opposed to $12.00 parking cost at DW. It was just a few minutes walk up S. River St. to Dixie Stampede (or an even easier drive).
